hey everyone recently i cleaned out all the trash in my gen2 mx6 95 and noticed a sticker with all the car's info in it.
the only thing that i found weird was the engine code area, its was CE06D24..
now is that just a code for a engine part or the engine code itself, cause i can't find a plate in the engine bay that says any different, anyone know about this?

Where did you find this sticker?

Perhaps it's just a line code ... or someone's put a sticker from another car on???

I've never heard of CE engines in 929s ... in the 80s they had FE and the V6s are J series.

If it's a C class engine, that's an old engine design ... doubt it would've made it into an MX6 (10 years after they stopped making them ...) but the VC type was used in the early 929/Cosmo according to wiki.

I would say that would most likely be the case.

Sorry to revive an old thread guys, but I too have thi same code for the engine code in my 95 MX6. VIN on sticker matches vehicle VIN so it isn't a random one.
