Ok I have a check engine light and my car is running just fine. What I am wondering is if there is any way to pull codes from the ODBII system without taking it to a dealer to hook up to their computer for what I am sure is too much money.

Any help would be great

Not that I know of. Some people have purchased scanners (I think www.autotap.com sells them) but otherwise, it's a trip to the dealer or local well-equipped shop to read the codes.
