It's raining here in El Paso, I used my wipers of course and one of them flew off. I turned my emergencies on picked up the wiper put it on real quick. The wiper is not the problem, five minutes later my emergency light button just popped out of its place. I didn't touch it, I didn't leave it on, it just simply popped out. Little springs flew, and a little piece of metal did too. Didn't put it back on cause don't know where the pieces belong. Anybody know how to do this and why the sudden mess up?

Sorry, but that's kinda funny. I would get a new switch from the junkyards. The reasoning is because:

a) if it falls apart once, it's going to fall apart again
b) its a free pocket part from the junkyard

It didn't fall apart it popped and flew all the way to the back seat. I have the button but I don't know how to install the springs and tiny piece of metal. You think it might of been a short circuit or something?

How much torque did you use on the wiper arm nut?

I didn't, I just slipped in the wiper on the aluminum arm. No NUTS.
