Cleaned up the engine bay a little

I removed the cruise control and painted my intake piping black. I can't wait until I have my powder coated ZE manifold (titanium), 67mm TB (titanium), fuel rails (gold), and valve covers (gold) installed. :jump:

I also got my new suspension installed. I now have Tokico Blues with my old Eibach springs. I installed front and rear strut tower bars from probeaddiction.com too. It sits a little higher than before but it's worth it for the ride it has.

Kobe, my mom's dog. He's a Shiba Inu, a Japanese hunting dog.

dude that looks awesome, i really like what u did with the piping for the intake, cant wait to see the IM, TB, Vc's and Fuel Rails. Also, liking the stance of the ride. Thats a good looking dog too!
That side shot is amazing I love the balck 6 with the white front reflector!

Engine bay is nice and clean you should get an optima though :)

Edit - Also that lip spoiler is the sex bomb. Is that a oem lip spoiler, and where can I get one? :)
Thanks guys!

Stealth- I would get an optima battery but I just replaced my old one with this one.

And yes, that is an oem lip spoiler. If you look closely, I also have the jdm lsi side pods and front lip installed too. I actually got the spoiler off ebay a LONG time ago. I was in a bidding war with Goat for it.

 thats funny, how much did it end up running you?
those are the MS skirts and lip? weird... I didn't notice them until you mentioned them.

looks good though chef!

why is your number 6 plug wire SO rebellious?!

btw, that is a beautiful dog!

No they're the JDM accent pieces.

Looks good Chef.
looks good man, hurry up and boost the thing. I thought you were gonna be boosted way before me but it looks like i might beat you
dude.. your dog has asian eyes!! lol.

wow.. if i wasnt at the beach all the time. my engine bay wouldve been this clean lol..

I think in the neighborhood of 80-100 dollars. It was used and green so it needed to be stripped down and painted black before I could use it. Believe it or not, there is 3m double sided tape holding it on since I didn't want to drill holes into the trunk. It hasn't moved an inch in over 5 years.

I have a 1994 disty and 1995 plug wires. The 1994 disty has a different layout than the 1995 and the wire is too short to run right.

The dog looks good and he's generally a nice dog. Notice the shock collar. Shiba's are very independent dogs and he kept visiting the neighbors and wandering the neighborhood near the house. My parents' house is on 7 acres of wooded property and he doesn't come when you call him so we had to get an astro fence to keep him in. The other thing that my mom was nervous about is the fact that he is oblivious to cars. He'll walk right out in front and stand there. He almost got hit a few times already. Now the fence keeps him safe on 5 acres.

You probably will beat me. I don't have the money laying around right now for boost. :sigh: Maybe next spring I'll get started. I know this motor is capable of some big numbers.

Do you have MS yet? My car's running a TON better than before. I've been using the VE analyzer program in MegaLogViewer. I make a data log every day while I drive to work and I analyze it when I get there and load the new program, then I do the same thing on the way home. It gets better every day.

I'm now getting 20mpg instead of 17-18. :jump: It also chirps second and third gear and I can definitely feel the cams above 4k rpm. I had to zip tie my vris actuators open because they weren't working before. Now I have a TON of top end power and a noticeable loss in low end torque. I need to get MS set up to control my VRIS.

I'm going to try to set up MS to control my VRIS and get the ZE manifold and 67mm TB installed by winter. Then it's off to the dyno to see what kind of power it's making.

I have it sitting up in my room waiting for me to install it. I just have to get around to it. It was actually built by Radar, I bought it from Justin with a bunch of other turbo stuff. But im a complete noob with megasquirt so im gonna have to learn how to do everything on it. My goal is to get the rest of the parts i need and have them on by November.

and i get 24 city and 29 highway  but it will probably go down once i get the millenia injectors and walbro fuel pump in. O well, ill enjoy it while i can.
I was a total noob to tuning a car too but it's fun to learn as you go. At least almost every boosted member is using MS so we have a huge number of helpers.

You'll probably lose a few mpg but nothing as bad as I did. I went a little crazy with my motor build and now I'm paying the price. I haven't even upgraded the fuel system yet. :(

On a side note: I've been thinking about painting my car the exact opposite of how yours is. Leaving black on the bottom and doing the roof in a dark gray. Do you think it would work out?
EXCELLENT Chef! I'm impressed bro!
i dont know if it would work out. The colors look good together, but i think it might look a little weird with the gray on the top. But who knows maybe it would look great. Anybody want to photoshop my car with black on the bottom?
 Just a thought. I love it all black but I also want it to be original.
Looks good Chef, I can't wait to finish my motor build, so I can start on the exterior

I bought an optima red top and the negative and positive terminals are opposite than the MX6; the cables don't reach. That JDM dog has ****** eyes!
