How??

I was thinking about pulling them out and cleaning/gettin them cleaned.

I dont really suspect anything wrong with them, just a peice of mind thing (I think too much!) I dont really want to use a fuel additive because I cant see it working so I will be forever skeptical of them!

i had mine cleaned for $260...and it ended up to be nothin wrong with them at all...
but i have been told the best way to clean them and keep them clean is put the fuel additive in the tank every 5000km

yep i totally agree...i have yet to hear of an mx6 injectors being badly clogged...
so if i were u i would always put 98 ron)optimax has the most cleaning agents)
and i would also put a bottle of injector cleaner in the tank every 5000km

Bah, pull em out and give em a clean...

If you **** it up, then you have an excuse to upgrade your entire car, from the turbo, to the pistons, to the injectors, to the IC and the suspension... Well, that is the excuse I would use anyway :D

ok you cant clean them yourself !

spraying them with carby cleaner will do nothing, if they are clogged give them a light tap with a extension bar :)

as for cleaning them proffessinaly they put them in a containor and shake them or something :)

take em off, and get them cleaned properly......... also at the same time you could increase the flow.

those fuel additives generally do nothing unless you injector REALLY stuffed or just to keep em clean after Pro done it.

also when Pros do it they also check the spray partern and also can adjust it......... no additive will do that

A good injector cleaner not only clenas them but test flow rate against each other - as even after time some injectors you cna find like 2 are only at 8/7ths of performance and the reast are at full good condition. The machine tests low spray and hard spray.

I had one just one blocked almost in the Wagon caused major problems with performance.

As for botlte of cleaner, They work when used say once a month ot keep the dam thing clear. I tryed them o ncar running a bit rough too away the roughness - but I buy the concentrate for like 2 to 3 tanks and put it into a 1/4 tank of fuel, works mad.
On this VL that had really bad injectors cleared it up, wasn't perfect but stopped it from almost stalling.
