Hi all,

I am going to get my car dyno tuned and had a small question. All the places I call tell me a different 'optimum CO level reading' out my exhaust for my 2.5l v6 2nd gen MX6. I would like to know if anyone knows what the optimum CO level reading is in the dyno test.

Thanks all!

My last dyno runs were quite some time ago, but IIRC, my best power came when the CO reading was 3.5-4.0. In my car, the CO meter stayed almost at 0 until about 4000RPM when it started up. On one really fat run, it went over 5 by 5500RPM, but the best HP numbers came around 4.

Ive heard you want to keep your CO numbers just under 4... but above about 3.5..... if you really want to dial it in for max HP.....

Just what I have heard..... havent tested it myself yet...

those numbers are quite high (from what I have heard). most people here tell me it should be around 2 or 2.5 max.
