I fixed my code problem... but the warnings still popping up on my audio system... how do i reset the code system? the problem is fixed! please make it go away so i can jam while i drive once again! })

you should be able to locate the code in your owners manual if you still have it. it also has a default code. however, i cant remember it right now. try dropping by the dealer, they should have the code for your specific car. i think all they need is your vin#.

You should search, but I did and it wasn't easy to find this post til I remembered I had posted in it. :)

Also, this post belongs in the audio/electronics forum, but enough with me post-nazi-ing and to the point:

Don't take you car to a stealership, they'll just rip you off. This is the exact procedure they'll use to reset your code, then charge you $50 for it.

PRESS 'SCAN'
PRESS 'AM/FM'
PRESS 'AUTO-M'
PRESS 'TUNE-UP'
'- - - -' appears on the display
PRESS '0532' (MX-6) or '1414' (MX-3)
PRESS 'SCAN/AUTO-M' simultaneously for 2-5 seconds.
'good' appears on the display.
