I am looking into getting cold air intake on my 1993 MX6, but I was wondering which will perform better for that vehicle, the K&N Cold Air Intake or the Ractive Cold Air Intake? Are there and spec comparisons kicking around?

I think the better choice is Hotshot or PRM?

Dude,
I have the K&N filter charger, dont let people fool you,the extra cost is worth it for the K&N. (all I care about is perfrmance, not bling blingen)
From what I recall the K&N filter charger isn't even a true cold air intake. It just let's in more air, albeit warmer air. PRM and Hotshot BOTH have very decent reps, and both use K&N filters. They're just designed better then K&N's filter charger

Neither the K&N nor the RACTIVE are true CAI. SPend some money getting a real one.

Or if you have an MTX: GSR long tube for the I4 and a Prelude CAI for the V6.
I think the new Ractive CAI may actually have a very similar setup to Hotshot. Not that this reflects anything of it's build quality....

As long as its a stainless steel tube and its away from heat, it's a cold air intake is it not?

It also has to be the right lenght, diameter, bends and have to put the filter in the right location. Oh and it has to attatch to the engine too.

By your logic any intake should work on any car and we all know that is absolutely false.

It would HAVE to bend, otherwise you would have the filter of the intake to the drivers side of the car, and we all know it wouldn't fit. I know what you're saying, but what you've described sounds like any intake, but just with bends and the right diameter for enough air to pass through. It would also have to conform to what I've previously said.

Anyways, as long as it provides cold air to the IM I'm happy.
