Excellent write up SinCity. I have done this conversion myself a couple of times now and it is very straight forward. Especially if you have a donor car.
Just a few things though -
All four motor mounts and bolts/nuts[/quote]You only need the 3 gearbox mounts, the side engine mount is the same.

Auto shafts will work, but you will need to use the manual intermediate shaft. Hubs are the same.Manual trans axles, connector shaft, and hubs
I have never seen different front struts between auto and manual, what was different about yours? The front struts are different, but you can use the auto trans struts
You do not need to change any wiring harnesses. There is only a very small amount of wiring needed to make the car run. I have outlined it in this post -Wire harness (the one that runs along radiator support, LF fender, and into fuse box on driver‘s kick panel)
Wire harness (alternator harness, goes from alternator to fuseable link box under hood)

From what i have read on this site, ATX turbo alternators have the highest amp output of any F2 powered car, might be better to leave the auto one in?Alternator from 5 speed car
