Hey guys,

My car runs great for about 20 minutes. As soon as the cel light comes on, I lose a lot of power and I can tell that the car is running rich. Upon pulling the codes from the car, I receive a 2, 17, & 24. The oxygen sensors I can worry about later, my main concern is the cps. Going by a guide, code 2 is the cps sensor that is not in the distributor, but the one next to the crank shaft pulley. I used an ohm meter and got a reading of 560 which is suppose to be in spec, is it possible for the sensor to give correct readings but still be bad? I will definitely be grateful for any advice.

Hey guys,

in the post above I took readings from the cps after the car was sitting for a couple of hours. I just took a second reading as soon as I saw the cel light, and it read about 10 ohms. In light of this, I'm gonna go head and replace the sensor

also remember to reset your ecu after you replace the part so you're not getting an old code
