I need a bit of advice. I want to have my intake manifold powdercoated and my valve covers painted in a bright red (similiar to the VTEC valve cover on the ITR). I just bought a can of Plasti-Cote universal red hi-temp engine paint for $5.00 from a local shop.
My question is whether or not i should try to paint it myself..
second, i need to have an idea how much i will spend on powdercoating my intake manifold. If anyone here could do it professionally without charging me alot of money, please email me at [email protected]
Thanks.

Rich, I've been looking for a good powdercoating shop in this area for almost a YEAR now. Actually, I wasn;t able to find ANY shop that would do powdercoating at all!

My last resort is to send both my valve covers and intake manifold down to RAWPOWER (username in Probetalk) to have him port the manifold and throddle body and powdercoat everything in one shot. if you find a shop around here that does it, let me know.
