Ok I have been reading the WSM and the haynes manual for some time now. In order to figure out how to remover the Cylinder head. I am wondering if you really have to remove everything that it says to get the head off? Or is there a short cut way of doing it Because I dont have a proper work space its sitting in my moms back yard and I dont want to drop any parts and not be able to find them. Is there any easier ways to remove the head? Once again any help would be appreciated.

I just took mine off my project car. You have to make sure oyu jack it up first and grab the back bolt off the support for the intake. It isn't that bad. You can do it in the backyard no problem. I did it in the dark (with headlamp) in a 10 by 20 storage unit last night. Took like 3 hours to get it off since i was drinking too with limited space, and i keep everything i do decently neat and organized while i work.
