It's really not that bad but you're going to have to put in a little time.
I've got mine off at home right now.
First remove the 3 screws above the gauges.
You're going to have to loosed the pannel under the steering wheel and there are two hidden screws for the dash underneath that pannel.
You're going to need to take the part around the gear shift off first, just pull up on it around the parking break area and then slide the other end of it down (take out the cigaret tray)
There are two more screws holding it in that will be exposed now. Once you have all the screws out of it you're just going to have to pull at it to pop the clips off, there are two big clips on either side of the steering wheel below the buttons that gave me a hard time. You'll have to disconnect the switches and the air vent regulator and then it will be free and you can slide it off.
I'm pretty sure this is exactly how I did it, I'll look tonight when I get home to make sure there isn't anything I left out. If you have more problems post and I'll go make sure I know exactly how to do it tonight. Hope this helps.
