w/ 248 k miles on it i would have to say that those shocks were put in there after the dealer lot. The 4ws 626 AND mx6 don't have the factory loom for the aas, which you wouldn't want with that many miles anyway. If there is an autozone near you pm me and i will hook you up with some free strutts. Just replace the front shocks with some cheap ones.Bumping for a real reason now
I'm in the process of picking up an 88 626 GT 4WS!!
White, blue interior, auto and abs.
Here's the kicker, the owner says it needs new struts. I popped the hood to inspect, this [fizzle]er has front AAS struts!! It doesn't have the control box on the interior, so I am intrigued to say the least.
I didn't check the rear for strut bar or AAS motors, it rode decent, the 4ws didn't work and turbo was basically blown...but damn it was a steal. The interior was damn near perfect and still had the stock mazda premium radio with sub and EQ
So to clarify no 4ws car was ever produced w 4ws. at least in the USA to cover my ass. And ftw you can put any 626 or mx6 strut in the rear don't worry about the 4ws part. many threads on that.
Hit me up if you need more specific info, dealer part printouts, rare oem 4ws parts, and other discontinued or never available parts.
