So i have been thinking on why my car seems slower than it used to be.. And well i came to thinking about something. When the 6 was down for a small period of time due to a bad crank sensor, i thought it was the distributor so i bought a used one and installed it. Now i did the trick to where i used the sharpie and marked on there to where to install it and angle it and all. Now im not saying i noticed the car slower after i did that, but its just an idea.. i still need to do a compression test and all, but would it make sense that my timing on the distributor might be slightly off causing it to be a little bit slower?

Could be. But I'll bet that even if you do set the timing right, you won't see much gain in power.

There's too many things that can cause our cars to go slower. Our sensors are pretty fussy too, so it can be annoying trying to pin point where the problems may be.
