I need help. Does someone know how to take out the door speakers step by step??
And when you replace the door speakers can you still use the factory tweets on the dashboard??? How does the wiring work for the front speakers????

To take out the front speakers all you need to do is take off the door panel, which is just two scews, and then pulling. Then the speakers are right there. Just unscrew, unplug and replace. Takes about 10 min, if that. Also if you're just switching to after market speakers, then everything will work the same.

lemme give you a lil more detail... the 2 screws... well one is in the cup where the door handle sits and the other is at the front of the door (you can only see it when you open the door). and the pulling... well the rest of the door is held in by body clips. they're little plastic things that basically snap in to the door. you have to look in between the panel and the door to see where theyre at. a flathead should work for popping them out but a trim tool would be best. it looks kinda like a screwdriver but the tip looks kinda like a 2-pronged fork. the prongs go around the clip and it pops right out. after you have all the screws, body clips and the door cup, you will need to lift and pull the panel. just work it a lil and it should come right out. after you pull it of but before you set it down you will have to unplug 3 plugs (1 for the courtesy light, 1 for the windows and 1 for the mirrors). you will see the plug for the speaker. unplug, unscrew, and reverse procedure. Good luck.
