Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone had a ecu pinout for a 1997 Ford Probe SV OBD1
I think it would be the same as a 1997 MX6 one

My ECU has KLF4 on the top of it and had 3 white connectors.

I am trying to install Megasquirt but can't do so without the proper pinout
I have looked all over probetalk and searched this forum!

Thanks,

Hayden

I swear I saw your car for sale on the side of the road on the way to narrabean??

Ive just uploaded the wiring diagrams for a 1997 for you to my photobucket.

Latest 4 pics. Enjoy. Obviously there are only 3 plugs, so one of them might be manual/auto or something. Have a look to check.

Colours wont match up because they are from a US car.

Ahh OBD2 - OBD1. There 97's didnt get OBD1.

Sorry dont have a OBD1 Pin out.

Hmm Apparently mine is a OBD2 ecu... I thought all Aussie ecu's were OBD1

I'm gonna try and match up the diagram with mine even though the colours are different

Is that a US pinout or an Australian pinout?

Any ideas where I could get an Australian pinout?

I tried Ford but all they could do was order me a service book which is $400

Is that an Australian one?

I've been told I could use a multimeter in continuity mode but that will be the biggest pain!

I managed to find the 6 injector wires on the ecu by looking at the ones in the engine baby and matching them up

They are the first 6 on the first connector!

I could do it this way but it would take alot longer than if I had a pinout :(

The Aussie pin diagrams and the US ones are the same. Pin locations are the same for the mx6 anyway. I used US ones for mine. Just colours are different.
