well, I was driving down the street the other day listening to my stereo when all of a sudden it went out... I couldn't hear any sound. I thought, maybe the speakers when out, but I continued to drive and hit a little bump on the ground. The music started up again, but after a bit, went away. The deck is still recieving power. I'm thinking this is a loose wire problem? I'm really ignorant when it comes to car stereo electronics. I did however take out my deck to see if anything fell out or was loose, I also checked all the speakers to see if they were connected... does anyone know wat could be the problem? please help, thanks

If the radio stayed powered up and playing but you just didn't have any sound then most likely one of your speaker wires is touching metal in the car. Best spot to start looking is at the speakers then selves then behind the radio. Unless you actually ran new lines it is very unlikely that they will be grounding out anywhere in between.
