a couple days ago my car started acting wierd, its acts like if it was going to stall. everything seems to be working fine, but it doesn't seem to have any power, when i'm going slow and i step on the gas to speed up the whole car starts to shake. at first i thought it was the fuel filter so i changed that, and its still doing it. It has be heating up more than ussual for a while but it never used to shake like it does now. I was wondering if the water pump broke, would that throw of the timing since everything is stuck in there or if anyone has any clue what the problem might be.

Its a 93 LS 5spd.

A while back at the drag strip, my car acted the same way only to find out that the tube going to the throttle body was loose from the weight of my intake. I tightened it up again and it ran fine. Check the PCV valve and rest of tubes on that side of motor. I found others were loose on mine also.

May not be this but you never know.

As for the heating up, make sure the mixture of coolant to water is right. I run mostly water during the summer.
