Any performance cam will make idle rough and a bit lopey because it has more exhaust/intake overlap and is designed for longer duration of intake during high rpm, hence high rpm gains. Any cam is basically a compromise between low and high rpms. Also low rpm torque is lessened because of the cam. If you want to build an n/a screamer, then these are good, along with forged pistons, raised compression, ported manifold, headers/ 2.5" exhaust, cai, etc. It all works together as one unit affects another.
