I think some people use a modified flange from a 1.8 protege

hehe I wonder what they meant ...

Looks like the website list all sorts of overseas cars that have the fe and fe-dohc.

not if the port spacing is out. edit edit edit. a sign of a tongue too quick for its own good.
:rolleyes:It's the same friggen motor. The only difference would be the head design but spec wise it would have to be VERY similar. What do you think that just because the head is an 8 valve that it's manifold is going to be drastically shorter than the same manifold for a 16v?

Four holes, minor mods if any, and you can sit on it and spin:tup:

Sick...

The F2 and the FE 8v have the same port layout on the manifold.

Now the only thing that comes close to the FE DOHC is the BP 1.8 and the FS 2.0

Here is the 16v head.

I do have a spare flange the same as the one pictured.

Flip the F2/FE flange upside down and it looks like the lower two bolt holes would fit the top half of the 16V head fine. You'd have to elongate the ports and drill 5 more holes.
You still dont get it. The f2 is in pairs and the dohc is evenly space.

The amount if time and effort it would take to do this, there would be stuff all original material left.

Please say no to drugs...

 btw, thx for the Karma... LOL

if youre going to resort to hacking up other flanges in order to barely fit a manifold for another application on your fe3, you might as well save yourself the trouble, and stick to tuning f2t's, where being ghetto is acceptable
