This is probably a stupid question, but do the tips that you can put on your muffler affect the sound at all. I have a pretty loud muffler, but it has some wierd tips that I wanted to take off, but I didn't know if that would affect the sound at all. Thanx for any advice.

As far as I know ... NO ... but you could have a silencer inside your tip that can be adjusted which does change the sound of your muffler.
