I have a pair of used headlights. It had oxidation on one of them and the other i sanded them off and tried to put clearcoat over it. After I did that the clear coat started to clump up and turn white. Now the whole lens is white and the clear coat is layered onto the headlight. I tried sanding off the clearcoat but it doesn't come off. The other headlight still has the oxidation on it.Any suggestions on fixing this. And if not I think we should send these headlights to a company that makes projectors and let them make a mold of it. Then we can have suggestions for designs. But if we do that we have to get a list of enough names so they'll start making them. Just an idea.

use a lower number sandpaper to dig deeper... then use 1500 or 2000 sandpaper to smooth it out, buffer with car wax and then paint over with clear paint
