So, why are you selling it?

It sounds like a great car, maybe it needs a little love, with old HLA problems and Alternator problems, at least that is what you've posted about before...

I might be interested, if I had a better idea of why you were moving on.

I've been lusting after a 5 door turbo for a while now...
And Virginia is practically in my back yard.. And I'll be in D.C. soon - Nov. 11th through 16th for business, but I might be able to meet you on the 17th... I might be able to arrange to meet you, and purchase it or something, if it is in good shape.
Is it in good enough shape to drive it back to Pittsburgh from No. Va. ?
I'm curious.

If you email pictures to me, I can host and post them for you and others to see.

Do you have any pictures?

Thank you Keegan for assisting the "Forum challenged"

To answer Moebius: The HLA's are fine now, and if I can find the spares, they go with the car. As for Alternators, this is number 3, and seems to be doing the job.

Now as to why I'm selling;
#1 I have a 2005 Scion tC I got last Fall.
#2 On Jan 28th of this year the 626 was tested by a Virginia state inspector for emmissions. The mileage on the car at that time was 180,806. Today is stands at 181,282. 476 miles in 9 months. (Passed with impressive #'s)
#3 The wife, and if you have one, you know what I mean.

Included in this sale - The Mazda Motors Mazda 626 / MX-6 Workshop manual.
Thank you guys, any questions let me know.

Funny.. I'm engaged, and my lady misses my old Mx6 - alas it was impractical for my job.

This vehicle however... is slightly more practical.

So, err, if you haven't got a buyer, what are you doing on the 17th of November?

I'm going to the Society for Neuroscience meeting Nov. 11th thru 16th, as an exhibitor, and we'll be driving in from Pittsburgh. Now, I was not planning on driving out there, as it'd be easier to get a ride with my boss (mostly because he is cheap enough he wouldn't want to pay his mileage and mine).
I'm not sure if we are drving back on the night of the 16th, or during the day on the 17th.... I'd really like to have a 5 door 626 Turbo..... hmm...
granted there are the insurance and titleing problems... Would you be available on the 17th?

Moebius,

Keegan asked first, and is thinking it over this week. If he decides he wants it, he's got it. If he passes, you are next. As for the 17th, not a problem. As for title and insurance, I can give you the VIN to give to your insurance company, and you can usually get a 3 day Temp Tag from your state DMV. This would allow you to drive it legally.
As soon as I hear from Keegan, I'll contact you with the answer.

Hope thats Ok........../HJS

PS. Keegan ran the Carfax and reported it came back clean.
