Go have the head shaved.
Sand the rough parts around the missing piece at the spark plug hole.
As long as none of the indent touches the lip on the head gasket you should be fine.
Just remember to torque the head down to spec, let it sit one hour and torque it again.
Susposedly, the turbo heads have sodium filled exhaust valves. Some people have cut the valves with sawzalls, and said "it was harder to cut the GT valves with my 8.99 harbor freight saw than the NA valves, they must be sodium filled!"
so what does that mean though. They exhaust valves are bigger i'm sure since the temp's in the engine are higher in the turbo i'm sure the engineers wanted to get rid of it quicker. But anyway whats it mean?
funny you say that cause i bet i have the same 8.99 saw
I also have the veterans day special 19.99 for a sawzall with adjustable speed with 9 blades. I'm full of win tonight bay bee!
