Today in my shop, a Mazda Protage/323 came thru for a brake inspection. First thing I noticed was that it had rear disc brakes, odd. When upon opening the hood, lo and behold, theres and FE3,(non-turbo of course), look-a-like under the hood!I didn't get the year, but it was an old guy that owned it, and it was an Auto and stock lookin'. Is this rare, or can I find more of these in the states?!

especially with a turbo and a couple upgrades!Would one of these be swappable into a 1st gen like mine?
You guys haven't seen my brother's BP turbo'd mx3? N/A BP with a T3/T04e 57 trim turbo running a 12.4 1/4 mile on slicks at 18 psi. That car is light and quick revving. A very fun car(and mean as hell) to drive.a bpt? maybe.
Its doable, but your better off goin with the FE3Ya, you guy's are right!Still, that's alot of motor for that little car, especially with a turbo and a couple upgrades!

Post some pics of your `95 Escort GT on here if ya want. I`d check them out. I like those litttle cars but don't really see them around. I like the older bigger escort GT`s too with the factory ground effects.I have a 95 Escort GT... damn thing. Can't accelerate for crap but once it gets going, it just keep going and going.
I found an ad on Kijiji once for a BP-T swapped 2gen... I think I posted it down in the 2G forum, too.
