Shitty thing is I had a good day. As such I'm at a lack of things to bitch or start a fight over.

Oh, I know. Here's one.

If you are a poser pussy jackass who mods you car only to drive it and to be cooler driving in to and from work, school, whatever you are a cunt.

Not even ricers with stupid ass mods, I'm talking about the fuckholes that put thousands into a car with legit mods that make it better looking, AND faster, and all you do is drive it. THAT'S NOT WHAT IT'S MADE FOR!!

Even if it's a cool car, if you're not racing it, legally, at the track whether it be drag, autocross or track days, you are a fag. Form follows function. If you're going to put go fast shit on it, even if it's eGay shit with the knowledge that it will make your car better in some way, if all you do is drive it you are a fag.

Vehicles are transportation, they're tools to get somewhere. Want to drive around? Buy a Geo. Want to be a badass? Go race. Legally.

There, how's that, offend anybody? Piss anybody off? Hope so. Good chance I'll be in a bitchy mood tomorrow. :p

I think I told you how to bypass the language filter in another thread. ;) Things are lax in here but don't push your luck.

I take offense to what you said though Ryan. I have done a lot to my mx6 and it has never been on the track. I even stripped the interior recently and I still want to turbo it and totally upgrade the suspension and brakes in the future. I am not saying that I won't ever have it on the track but it is a street car (Not to be confused with a street racing car) until I do so. I think that mostly it's just something to wrench on when I have time off work. Taking things apart and modifying them is soothing to me. :p

Chef, don't be too offended at my opinions, they are just that, opinions. ;)

I will say that I absolutely appreciate hard, well thought out quality work in ANY car, even if it falls under the category of Rice, if it's well thought out, well executed, and done properly no matter what it is I give respect for good work.

For a car that is nicely modded but not raced...for me it's kind of like softcore porn. Yeah, she's hot. Yeah she's naked. But she's not getti'n boned. Just pretending.

Believe me, the opposite could be said for me. I spend all this time, all this money on a car which I dearly love and I take it to the track, subjecting it to situations which could lead to it's destruction? WTF man?!?! Why risk your car??? Simple. Because that's what I built it to do. Form follows function. That's my MO for nearly everything I've done to my car. It MUST function, it MUST make the car faster, lighter, safer, handle better for the purpose of racing. Period.

I worked for BRG88 as shop manager. Thats my office in the back. We had a garage at mosport international raceway and the shop was in Oshawa.. We moved the shop to oshawa from richmond hill. In richmond hill it was known as bartling racing. Google if you wish. The german owner of bartling racing is Rudy.

I can post more pics if you want.. But i know i drove those.. I test and tuned... I never raced.

By the way, when we moved it to oshawa, it changed to BRG88. Stands for Bartling Racing Group 88. That 355 Challenge is the only 355 STREET legal challenge in north america. AS you know, 355 challenges off the line are not street legal, we built this reg 355 into a challenge car. That was a supercup GT3 car in the back ground.. We raced it at daytona. Believe me yet?

Hard to tell by this pic, but this was at mosport with that gt3

This was our 2006 carerra 997. Last time we went to daytona, it got smashed up.

so here it was after we got it back from body shop. bad pics.

That white one is a 944 turbo, and the red in the back ground is a 944 normal aspirated..

See the old 914.6 in the middle in this next pic.

Look at this pic here where my mx6 was getting the work done, this was our body shop.

You can see the same 914.6 in front of my car... See in the pic above ^^ where the guy is standing. Thats a GT2 Twin turbo.

Ok. I believe you. And I'm just a bit jealous. :)

So, which of the cars you've driven did you like most and why?

thats a hard decision.. Theres a car thats not in the pics.. It was a Porsche 993. I have to say that was my #1 fav car.. IT handled beautifully, rode nice for cruising but hauled ass if you wanted it too.. It turned a lot of heads when driving through toronto as it was street legal and plated. The suspension was sooo tight and huged corners at a high rate of speed. It was a dream to drive. However, the owners wife came to a test and tune day and put it in the wall on turn 2 at Mosport.

ALthough we repaired it, the boss sold it. I was sad!

SO that being said, my other most favourite was that 355 challenge.

While I just one short clip, it seems that 'Never a good driver is an understatement. More like unsafe!! Two 360's in a row...yikes.

What did he do wrong, brakes lock up, hard downshift, crank the wheel too hard/fast?? All of the above?

no, he simply just couldn't drive. Him being the owner thought he could.
