thnx guys...I going for the whole originality kick on these, and it looks SWEET ASS at night, i'll post pics, i think i am taking pics tonight if i can get the camera.

it took about two days (goofing off) and it did take a couple tries to get the flames right and matched. but it can definetly be done in an evening if you keep with the job and don't goof off.

advice...USE A VERY VERY VERY SHARP KNIFE TO CUT, FLAMES ARE A BITCH!

That looks really cool. But would it have worked using tint spray? Just cover up the lights with a template and spray them really dark maybe? dunno, anyways it looks cool!

bj_swift....i guess it can work with tint spray but it won't be the same. it'll allow a little bit of light through so the flames won't look right and the lines won't be quite as crisp. also, you can't take that shit off...if i get tired of flames i can peel that vinyl off and start over.

Originality and it looks good. Always a plus in my book. The lenses look good.

How exactly did you do that?

i did it by covering the lens with vinyl and cutting out the design.

however, the little letters that stand out from the lens, i had to file those off with a cross cut file and then buff them with buffing compound on a table buffer.
