Anyone ever flushed their rads, with one of those prestone flush and fill kits. The ones where you got to splice a rad hose and fit a T adapter in between the two hoses. Is there anything I should know before doing this? Also If I use this method, does that mean that I can avoid having to drain the coolant from the rad and unscrew the water coolant hoses on the oil fiter?

did it a long time ago on my 66 mustang and it worked fine. for my mx6 i just took it to a shop and had them do the flush n fill since i was in a hurry.
if you are going to do the Prestone thing:
have a BIG tub to collect all the old coolant, definitely use distilled water cuz it doesnt have all the minerals and other junk that tap water has, make sure you buy the right kind of coolant for your 6, make sure your turn your heater on full blast while flushing so it gets the heater core cleaned out. good luck!
