Yes, when it comes to fog/foglights, yellow is the optimum colour

A few things...

1. Custom mounted amber superflex LED strip for turn signal
2. 85W PIAA Ion Crystal H3 bulbs sitting inside an ion yellow bulb capsule, same configuration as the J-Spec foglight and other Lexus fogs, this is the reason why you see a shade of yellow inside the those foglights when the light is not on.
3. Foglight switch was wired independently that allow me run higher wattage bulbs, and a 10W load resistor is wired parallel to the LEDs to erase hyper blink.

And yes yellow is more practical in the fog, and I like the look of it. It looks pretty dark in the picture, but in person they are actually light golden yellow, just like the IS300.

howve you got them wired?

if they are in with your parking lights.. why dont the actual headlight ones come on?

Hes run it independantlly to another switch which probablly fires a relay to allow him to run high watt bulbs.

i ment the 'jspec' led's he put in not he actual fogs.

They're turn signals, just like the turn signals in the JDM fogs.

They are only wired to the signal, parking light is separated. Basically the J-Spec corner light is still wired in for running light, and the turn signal wire just got routed to the LEDs.

damn. well thats neat!

it looks pretty badass when the part you have just as a turn is wired as a parking light too.
