I have a 1992 MX-6 and my front disk brakes are squilling when I apply the brakes. How do I get the caliper off to change the pads???

A workshop manual would be a good investment for reference. Take off the tire and there are 2 bolts in the back of the capiler. These bolts hold the caliper in place. 1 on the upper side and 1 on the lower side. Once you loosen these you will feel the caliper loosen, become free. Take these 2 bolts out and slide the caliper off. Swap pads and reverse. It's a metric size for the bots like 17MM it think. It's not too difficult, if you have problem through the repair do a search or post a question.
