Does anyone know which year each of the following engines were released?

FS-01 = what year ?
FS-02 = what year ?
FS-03 = what year ?

to my knowledge, the numbers you are quoting aren't different years, but rather different part numbers that usually indicate the engine number.

the FS engines in our cars are known really only as the FS. the 01-03 moniker comes from the fact that some other parts on the car, like the maf, put the extra number on the end.

You can find the number on the engine, right above the exhaust manifold on the block. It will show FS0? This is where it's at on the 4cylinder anyways.

That's what I thought, but I'll check it anyways and post what I have.

Yeah, you would need the correct maf and ecu for that particular FS01, 02, or 03. I do believe they are year specific.
