Well, I changed the fuel filter yesterday, and I noticed that the gas had a red tint to it. Normally I would say this was rust in the gas tank, but since this was a southern car I am not sure if that happens down there or not. Anyways, is there any way to tell, and or clean up the gas that is in there without removing and flushing the tank?

hmm not that I can think of. You can try removing the fuel pump (or guage sender whichever) from under the back seat and see if you can look through the hole.

I doubt this but, fuel stablizers are commonly red tinted.

Where did you get the random tech cat?
