My owner manual states that I must use unleaded fuel with a rating at least of 95 RON. This is premium unleaded in the UK. There is a 98 RON Superplus unleaded will using this cause any problems or will the car be optimised to run on the 95?

Cheers

You'll get the "most" out of the engine by using the recommended 95RON, theoretically. Using this octane allows the PCM to run as much timing as it is programmed to which, generally, results in the best power output.

You don't need the 98 but running it won't hurt anything. It will cost you more to fill up but you won't see any performance improvements.
