Im running a 255 high pressure pump in my probe, but im still using the stock fpr.Im having starting issues with the car now, and im wondering if i have to get an afpr to hold the pressure of the pump.Am i able to stick with the stock fpr, or is mandatory to use an afpr when using the 255? The car as it sits wont start at all but it smells like a lot of gas, i have spark and i just replaced my timing belt and the timing is dead on.

I would say yes you need an afpr, and if you are getting spark, fuel, and cranking power from the starter I would say way to much damn fuel is flooding it.

im sure the cold weather we have now, doesnt help.Im going to recheck everything once more, and try starting it in diagnostic mode before i go spend $140 on a nice afpr. Thanks for the help.
