i remember reading somewhere that aftermarket springs + stock shocks = a lot of stress on a car. would the same be true with the GC's? how about if this setup was only for a short period of time. until i get some better shocks. thx.

Performance springs are way stiffer and the stock struts cant handle it as good. So you get a ruffer ride and your struts might not last as long.
