G'day,

Long time reader, first time poster.

Been using the forum for years to find info out, However as I am reacquiring my old MX-6 (sold to a friend who is selling it back to me)
I figured it is as good a time as any to finish my plan of Mods.

I already did a kickass sound system, but that is long gone, and a custom leather interior, that is still there however.

Mod list in order
*Carbon fibre or brushed stainless for interior
*Big brake (front, rear and MC)
*Full turbo kit
*Lip kit (Either off an S14 or M6 modded to suit)
*coil overs
*New sound system

I work in a performance parts shop, so bits and pieces shouldn't be to hard to find. I have already organised an amazing sound system through the Vibe rep so once I am ready to fit it all it should be pretty sweet.
The turbo kit is sitting in storage ready to go once the brakes are done so hopefully I can figure that one out quick as that is the only real thing holding me back at the moment. Well, that and I don't get my car back for another 2-3 weeks.

Cheers

Welcome to the site! Post up some pics of that custom leather interior, I'm curious to see how it looks.

Thanks for the welcome mate,

Not a problem, Hopefully the links work for you.
I had this made up to a pattern by removing the existing fabric and then sending it off to a specialist.

I told him what I wanted and was wrapped in the end product.
However It did take time, the car was off the road as I didn't have a spare set of trim lol.

All up it took about 3 weeks. It really wasn't that hard, although I have trimmed a few cars before.

And a gratuitous shot of the outside of the car.

I posted a reply with some photobucket links of the trim, but it will need to be approved by a mod first. Hopefully it doesn't take too long.

Thanks mate, Its one of my favourite trims that I have done as its fairly subtle.
However I wasn't sure about putting the MS logo on the trim as it wasn't a true MSMX6.
But I did find out that it did get optioned with the MS exhaust, wheels and aviators lol, But the PO didn't realise and took them all off, Im assuming the original owner still has the Aviators :p

Um I guess not, lol I'm guessing I'll still find it haha.

Cheers
