One of the cars is a 2nd gen Probe SE, 5 speed. The other is a 99 Infinity i30.
Both cars are stock, mine too a 94 LS 5 speed. The guy with the Probe know how to drive stick, so what do you guys think. When I race tomorrow Ill post results, thanks.
The i30 has a 3.0 v6 auto. It runs simular #s as the 6, but the guy who drives it is a puss (scared to puch his car). The SE guy is crazy. Im pretty good with shifting now( fast too ) so I guess I might take them both.
the infiniti is just a slower nissan maxima, cause of its added weight. And, the 99's had a bunch more emissions equipment onboard, so they had less power. If he's 5spd, watch out, alot of them came with VLSD, and they werent slow by any means, but most likely it's just an auto, and you should be able to walk him. The intake manifold on a VQ30 craps out after 5.5k rpms anyway.
You'll have a definite weight advantage over the i30 so you should take him easily. especially if it's an auto. The probe will get eaten alive, good driver or not. Have fun and don't beat them up to bad, lol.
