Well, there is both good and bad news with the chip.... Unfortunately I don't have a scanner but I may get one soon.

Bad news - I only got 177hp ATW with 15psi.

Good news - The power kicks in hard very, very quickly. For example on the last dyno run, at 2500rpm I had 40hp rising to 80hp at 3000rpm (and maxing out at about 145hp). That is a 40hp rise in 500rpm... not too bad I suppose. But now!

At 2500rpm I'm at again 40hp, but at 3000rpm I'm at 120hp which is a 150% power increase over the 80hp before. I tell you what, you really feel it when you go from 40hp to 120hp in 500rpm. And then it is a steady rise with max power at about 4400rpm.

The good thing is, even though I didn't get the max power I wanted, when I change gears and drop back to 3000rpm I have a whole extra 40hp at the wheels and the car feels much faster and is, it is just not peaking at the power I thought. It should make a lot quicker 1/4mile time due to the fact the turbo is spooling much quicker and harder, even if it only has a slightly higher max power.

But overall, it is good, and drives much smoother now :)

A high-flowed turbo and you would get 200Hp or more for sure with your results.
But do remember that the F2T does not make big top end but does eat most down low and mid-range

Looks like TEK19 is getting some pampering, new clutch (how are you finding it btw?), new CV's and a chip re-tune.

All you need to do now IS WASH THE POOR THING!

Hey Paul....

Hey clutch is going good, as it should! It is hard to explain what it is like, but compared to my old one, it is a big improvement. It grips very quick and very hard, so you don't lose hardly any revs on gear changes. I never got the CV's done... although I do need to, but the actual rattling was something else. And yes, it does need a wash :)

RodHog - The next 2 things to do on my list of mods are

- Ported Head
- Hi-flowed turbo.

But that won't be for at least another 6 months. I'm taking a break for now, as I have run out of money. I started with a stock car in late January (when I bought it) and now it is pretty quick, so I'm happy for now anyway :D

robbo23- Definately mate, can't wait for uni to over for the year, then I get to spend some quality time with the car (I mean the mrs) :)

Now, where are those skylines??

something the F2 would really use is short runners.... about 1"-1.5" long. this should move the torque and power bit up in the band..... early mitsu (12 valve turbo) got max torque moved over 2000 higher in the range. just a thought. i was gonna do it on my F2 but.... you know, Fe happens :(

Dont worry too much about the power figure. Like rodhog said, its all the midrange on these cars that makes them quick.

When my car was less modded it only made 93.4kw atw, in the same state as it ran a [email protected]

They go well on 15psi hey :) As I am now finding out, 140 in no time at all!
