okay here's the scoop. i just got the gts clear covers and i installed them on my angel eyes. they don't even fit over them properly. the corners stick up too much and the hood can't even close. do i have to skim the top of the gts covers or what? that's where it supposed to get latched by the hood but doesn't. anyone else have this problem?

I cut a hole in the top of the plastic fold overs and zip tied them to the headlights bracket. They still stick up on the sides though, but it closes and they stay on the car. Im goin to make a bracket so they fit perfect. Il reply with some pics when im done.

thanks man. i would appreciate that. i was so happy and than after trying to install it i was dissappointed. so do i have to cut off the top part that supposed stay pinched under the hood? they fit on the stock ones perfect but just not on the angels.

I kept that top part there. I drilled a small hole on the bracket that was closest to the nose and ran a ziptie right around the light bracket. That way you can take the headlight on and off without havin to remove the gts covers. My hood closes fine with it like this, maybe budge the covers around to find a spot where they don't get hit.

i got mine from gts.com and it was only $47 with the shipping.

you know i was thinking. since it's such a pain to try and fit the gts covers on the angel eyes why don't they just make new covers for the angel eyes so they are a perfect fit.

i got them here for $48 with shipping and tax, for an out of state order it would be like $45 shipped. i put mine over my civic projector headlight conversion. i didnt expect them to stick out on the side like they do but its really not THAT noticable...... i drilled a hole in the top mounting flange and ran a peice of wire from it to the radiator support to secure it. it might be different for the pod headlights tho.....
