Halo Headlights

paint them red, but dont get them, go with some jspecs or especs they look much cleaner. Halo's FTL.

I love the look of the halos, just the housings are crap! Im debating buying another set (my set got killed in the accident) and changing the halo colors out and finding a way to reinforce the brackets.

lol how funny i just painted mine black... yours looks 10x better though, since it matches your car. BTW, how is the light output on the turn signals ? i'm worried mine isn't enough.

Can someone go through the steps of painting the lights. Just so i make sure i do it right and not screw up

I'd imagine you'd have to remove the pods, tape off the turn signal cover, and primer/paint

during the daytime light output on the turns leave something to be desired, but it's fine at night.

I didn't use primer; I wanted the chrome to shine through but it was too late when I realized I was using the wrong kind of paint. I sprayed on a very fine layer, almost like a mist, and I let it sit in the oven @225 for about 30 minutes. Then it got layers that were slowly heavier, until it had about 7 layers. I put them in the oven for about 45 minutes between layers and it came out looking pretty solid.

I was thinking about getting the halo's off ebay as well. I heard mixed reviews on the light output from these. One guy saying he didn't have the projectors but it seamed like a spot light more than a headlight. And another guy saying the projectors aren't good. But several saying they are.

I was debating between the halo lights with HID's, and the halo lights with HID's and Projector. Either way I'm going for HID's, just don't know if I should go for the projector lense as well. I don't have any experience with these angel eye lights so I would really like to know if anyone has them installed and can tell me how it looks on the road.

please dont use hid without the proper projector. You need the cutoff for the safety of yourself and also every driver traveling in the other direction.
