Hi
Help. i have a 2L 626 GXi '98 . the ride seems very hard and unforgiving compared to all other cars i have driven . I have replaced front stuts (Mazda) which made little difference. As i use car every day, 40k per year, i'm not sure i can put up with this. Any help would be appreciated .thank you.

Softer suspension usually gives worse handling, and vice versa..
Most manufacturers try to get a good balance between the two..
with stiffer suspension being on the more sportier versions.

As most people who alter their setup from normal go for lower, stiffer suspension, there is no call for softer springs, and as such you may have difficulty in changing it.

If the car is perfectly normal, then making it softer would seriously affect the handling for the worse.
