I have the stock keyless entry on my 6 and the thing that really bothers me is that if it gets triggered by a door opening, there's a 20 second delay before it sounds the siren. What kind of crack were the damn Mazda designers [email protected]

Well anyways it sets off the alarm instantly if the hood or trunk is opened. I want to rewire the thing so that is thinks the hood is being opened when the door gets opened. Problem is I don't know how to go about doing this. :(

I've noticed there's the keyless entry box behind the back seat with 4 wires going into it. I tested them for voltage and the only thing I could figure out is one of them is a ground. Is the alarm brain somewhere else?:confused: Please help!

G'day
If your's is the same as the Ozzy MX6 the alarm brain is behind the glove box{you open the box squeeze the sides in and it opens sorta right out}
As for the other things you’re askin.... It’s beyond me
