Hi, I have a Jap import (to the UK) 1992 (K) reg MX6, 2.0 V6 Automatic and have become a little concerned over the brightness of the headlight dip beam. The main is a H1 whilst the dip is a 'Stanley CBMO'. Does anybody know if I can upgrade this type of bulb or even where I can get one - my local dealers are not familiar with this type.

Many thanks

J

tru dat....... its not very common....

jln, are you sure your headlights are angled correctly?? if they are, and they still arent bright enough. you should be able to take the bulb out and go to an automotive parts store and buy new ones or better ones. also, i know there is a company who makes a HID conversion, for the jspec headlights, but it costs in the range of $3-500 US. also what side of the road do you drive on? from what ive heard, the specs light up the right side of the road better since in japan people drive on the left. and as far as i know, theres no way to correct for that.
