Hello all,

I have a problem that perhaps SOMEONE can help me with.

The Driver Side Power Mirror is broken on my Wifes car. it is just hanging there by its cord.

My question is: HOW do I remove the mirror housing? Do I have to remove the whole door panel to get at it, or is there some trick in getting just the MIRROR housing off?

I have been struggling with it for a while now, and I cannot find any way to get it off from the outside.

I know there are 3 bolts on the inside of the door that hold the mirror bracket on, but even with these removed, the mirror housing still hangs on the outside by its cord.

Prise off the plastic cover and remove the 3 screws.. the mirror should come off easy.. the wires disconnect at the connector, which is sometimes just shoved down inside the door..
