ok so here's the situation. i have arospeed coilovers that i really want to install cuz im sitting on 17s now and the ride is a bit too high. anyway, i've heard that if you put coilovers on stock springs, your car will bounce like none other whenever u hit a bump. u know, like back in the day when they showed those model t's that just bounced up and down the road...so is there any truth to this? does anybody have any experience? im also gonna post this in performance so please dont yell that this is in the wrong forum...it sorta belongs in both

The springs are a lot stiffer than stock thus wearing out the stock struts quicker.

Don't we have KYBs stock? or am I confused? (the latter is more likely)

i think our stock struts are made by mcpherson or the oem replacement was made by them.
if you are going with the coilover set-up your better off going with kyb cuz' kyb is a shock type not strut. otherwise get the tokico shock (which doesn't have the perch). i believe its the tokico blues, i have the tokico illuminas and its a strut, therefore if i want to replace suspension with coilover i will have to grind the perch.
