Now that I have the car re-assembled and running I'm having a pretty severe hesitation problem when I try to accelerate in any gear other than 1st. If you press the gas more than half way the car hesitates for a second before accelerating but if you let off just a tiny bit it will stop hesitating and go. I've checked the plugs and wires but so far havent come up with any reason for this annoying problem. Any ideas?

Check your plug gap, recheck your wires. Make sure your ignition timing is good (hehehehe).

check your TB boot for cracks/leaks.

So the TB seems to be just fine with no visible cracks or any rough spots in it but the car still wont behave. Plugs and wires are correct and to spec and all the turbo hoses are clamped down and no leaking. Any other ideas?

pull the codes and see if it's the egr sensor! I had a similar problem and it was a faulty egr!

Allright, no codes are currently in the car and its still hesitating from 2nd gear on when the throttle goes past about 1/2. One idea a friend had was taking the control module mounted on the stock coil in to work to have it tested, so I may do that tomorrow while I'm playing with the car. This stupid hesitation is really keeping me from enjoying my car now that its back together.
