In warm weather, it idles just fine but when it's cool outside, the idle tends to want to stay above 1K RPM even after it's reached the normal operating temperature and even well after it's at this point. Sometimes the only remedy is to engage the clutch a little bit in gear and then let off when the car is stopped to get it to calm down but that doesn't always work.

higher idleing in the cold is pretty normal..

if its at normal operating tempature you might wanna consider adjusting the air idle screw, or the tb adjustment screw or the throttle adjusment screw,
if those dont lower it, adjust your timeing because it might be a deg off.


I usually adjust my idle higher in the winter to get the motor to warm up faster. I adjust it to idle at 1200, wich in a cold start it will normall idle 1300 then.
