Just wondering where would be the best place to hook up my oil pressure gauge. i was thiking of getting a T fitting and hookking it up to the turbo feed, seems to be the easiest accessible, will this give me a accurate pressure reading?
I really really REALLY hope that you didn't buy a mechanical gauge, rather a full or half sweep electronic with a sending unit? I have a friend who has battle scars from a mechanical oil pressure gauge gone awry.
Also a note about tapping into the turbo oil line. That line is the lifeblood of your turbo and it what keeps it spinning happily. Dont tap into because the last thing you want is to impede flow or worse cause a leak and have the turbo not get all the oil it needs.
Thats the biggest load I have ever heard. I have been using mechanical guages for years and years. Nothing evr has happened. Maybe your friend(s) bought a crappy guage or had no idea what he was doing when he installed it.
