hi,

i am planning to replace my stock air intake/filter. but am a bit worried about the CAI filter at the bottom of the vehicle....

did anyone ever ran into any problems with the Hotshots CAI?

for example, with:

1) rain/snow/nasty weather conditions?
2) bad roads? bumps, pot holes, driving up and down driveways?

or do you guys have two setups of intakes/filters, one for winter and one for summer (CAI)?

also, has anyone tried the Hotshots CAI with AEM's Bypass Valve?

you could make your own, check out my web site on my sig for my instructions. As for water ingestion, just avoid big puddles, or push the filter higher up the pipe( or in my case, cut the hose a few inches) above the splashuard where you will lessen the risk of damage.
